California Poppy Aerial Part Extract

California Poppy Aerial Part Extract

What is this ingredient known for?

California Poppy Extract has been traditionally used in herbal medicine for its analgesic and sedative properties.

Why are we using it in Power Off?

Function #1: California Poppy promotes relaxation.

California Poppy has been traditionally used to promote relaxation by offering a mild sedative influence on the central nervous system, likely via the activation of benzodiazepine receptors. Multiple mouse studies have been able to validate this effect, though no human clinical trials have been conducted to show this.

Function #2: California Poppy may inhibit adrenaline synthesis.

Studies show that extracts from the California Poppy may inhibit the synthesis of adrenaline. This is important because overexcitability or restlessness that leads to difficulty sleeping is caused by increased levels of adrenaline and other stress hormones in your system.

Why this form?

Power On uses a highly standardized extract using the aerial part of the plant. The extract has no traces of poppy seeds.
